*Teens compete for a cash prize, crown, sash & more-
as well as the opportunity to represent your area at the Miss New York's Outstanding Teen Competition!!
*Princesses (age 6-12) compete for a cash prize crown, sash &
the opportunity to perform at the Miss Brooklyn Competition and make appearances with Miss Brooklyn & Brooklyn's Outstanding
Teen!!

FAQ'S
• Who is Eligible to Compete?:
TEEN Contestants (13-17 yrs
old) & PRINCESS Contestants (6-12 yrs old) who live, attend school or work in the Five Boroughs of New
York are eligible to compete.
• What are the Areas of Competition?:
TEEN: 8 minute Interview (25% of total score),
90 second Talent (35% of total score), Lifestyle & Fitness in Active wear (15% of
total score), Evening Gown (20% 0f total score), On-stage Question (5% of total score)
PRINCESS:
On-Stage Introduction (10 points of total score) Beauty (10 points of total score) 90 second Talent (10 points of total score)
• How can I compete?
Fill the info request form on the Home Page (www.missbrooklyn.org). A contract and contestant packet will be sent to you shortly. Final contracts are due August 7, 2010.
• Is there an entry fee?
TEEN & PRINCESS Contestants have a $150 entry fee. Please EMAIL for details.

you are a veteran or new to the pageant stage or the Miss America Organization, The Queen’s Corner has something for
