• Who is Eligible to
Compete?:
MISS
Contestants (18-24 yrs old or senior in high school) and TEEN Contestants (13-17
yrs old) who live, attend school or work in the Five Boroughs of New York are eligible to compete.
• What are the Areas of Competition?:
MISS: 10 minute Interview
(25% of total score), 90 second Talent (35% of total score), Lifestyle & Fitness in Swimsuit (15% of total score), Evening Gown (20% 0f total score), On-stage Question (5% of total score)
TEEN:
8 minute Interview (25% of total score), 90 second Talent (35% of total score), Lifestyle & Fitness in Active wear
(15% of total score), Evening Gown (20% 0f total score), On-stage Question (5%
of total score)
• How can I compete?
Fill the info request form on the Home Page (www.missbrooklyn.org). A contract and contestant packet will be sent to you shortly. Final contracts are due September 2010.
• Is there an entry fee?
MISS Contestants will need
to raise $100 for the Children's Miracle Network in order to compete. Go to www.missamerica4kids.org to set up a free account and begin your fundraising.
TEEN
